RUBBER MOLDS

In this class students will produce a professional quality poured rubber mold on their own art work.

The class will cover mold design strategy, good keys and clamping edges, clay blankets, plaster and burlap application, releases and rubber pouring techniques.

This class is for students with small to mid sized work to mold. The molds produced in this workshop can be used for multiple castings for wax, plasters, or cold cast plastics.

The class will cover tools and materials with an emphasis on health and safety in the mold shop.
