New Foundry worked with artist Jude Tallichet to produce a 6' polished aluminum casting of a life size bear rug. The foundry produced a silicone production rubber mold on a fur bear rug original, and cast the piece in ceramic shell/ lost wax, capturing full detail of hair, claws, teeth etc. in polished aluminum.
Cast objects including bales of hay were part of a sculptural installation by Tallichet at Sara Meltzer gallery in New York and The Bloom projects Space in Santa Monica California.
